The Army is Developing Yet Another Laser Weapon

The US Army is once again betting big on laser weapons. The service has selected shipbuilder Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII) to develop a new high-energy laser weapon to help soldiers take down hostile unmanned aerial vehicles, the company recently announced.
